Mourn The 2,000 U.S. Dead And The 100,000 Iraqi Dead
St Louis Instead of War Coalition ^ | Oct 24, 2005 | (Some Unnamed Left-Wing Looney)

Posted on 10/24/2005 6:51:03 PM PDT by TravisBickle

1,997 U.S. troops have already been killed in this Iraq war.

At 7 p.m. on the day after this grim count reaches 2000, come to Grand and Lindell to express your sorrow and outrage that this illegal, immoral, reckless war goes on and on and on, long after every shred of a pretext has vanished. Bring your family, your neighbors, your co-workers, your friends. Let's join voices across the nation, organized by Gold Star Families for Peace, Military Families Speak Out, Iraq Veterans Against the War, American Friends Service Committee, and hundreds of other groups United for Peace and Justice, to say "NOT ONE MORE DEATH! NOT ONE MORE DOLLAR!"

Watch this page, http://www.afsc.org/2000/, and http://icasualties.org/ as the date approaches.

These people are so anxious for our soldiers to die, they're already planning the funeral.

They're pretty good at expressing sorrow and outrage for those who are protecting our freedom, too bad these folks haven't figured out how to express gratitude for those who are securing their freedom. I haven't heard about any rally that cheers the ones who come home safely. Nor have I seen anything on their website that supports our troops who are still living. I guess the only troops they seem to recognize are the ones that have died.

I'm not sure if this is a nationwide thing or just in St Louis.

No reputable agency or firm believes there is 100,000 causalities from the Iraq War.

Unless you include the tens of thousands of terrorists killed by our brave men and women in uniform, but then again, most of them are not Iraqi.

These are the people who would have left Black Americans to rot as slaves on the plantations. No war to free the slaves.

These are the people who would have stood by during the Jewish Holocaust. No war to defeat Fascism.

These are the people who would stand by while Islamic terrorists seek to overthrow an Arab democracy. No war to free 26 million Iraqis.

And they think they stand on the moral high ground. Idiots.

Really, when you add up Beirut, the first Gulf War, Afghanistan, Khobar, The Cole and 9-11, we're way beyond 2,000 good guys dead.

I mourn the high price of freedom and celebrate the fact that we have young men and women willing to stand up for freedom.

I also mourn the fact that we have people who look forward to the death of soldiers as an excuse for another rally in support of our enemies.

I mourn the fact that we are infested with such vermin as would allow the world to be overrun by tyrants and see freedom extinguished. They just arent smart enough to know it would be their freedom extinguished first.

These asshats will never succeed into turning the Iraq libertion and the first domino in the part of the world history left behind into the wasted Kennedy-Johnson war no matter how hard they try.

No, 1559 have been killed. 438 died from non-hostile causes. http://icasualties.org/oif/hnh.aspx

My wife's aunt is the one sending the emails around to us. In order to keep peace in the family, I generally keep quiet, but you have raised some good points.

If we never fight back, do these people think that the bad guys will just leave us alone? And all the while they enslave, ethnic cleanse, and exterminate large groups of people.

And funny how there's not one word on their website about the thousands of unborn children who are killed every single day in this country.

Even though it's infantile, I understand the meaning of "NOT ONE MORE DEATH!" But what does "NOT ONE MORE DOLLAR!" mean? Sounds like Scrooge McDuck talking to one of his nephews.

They never mourned the Iraqi deaths when Saadam was doing the killing.

Actually, I don't think they think about the moral high ground. Islam occupies the inverted ground...they call the low ground "high" and the high ground "low". They see life through a mirror. To Islam, evil is good and good evil.

We need to save those who can be saved and save ourselves from the rest.

This is the war of the plain of Megiddo...if you think otherwise, make your argument.

Also "St. Louis Instead of War" is kind of a confusing name for their organization. These guys definitely need to go to Slogan School.

And they aren't protesting Syria today. Or North Korea. Or Darfur.

The are NOT protesting War. They exist simply to protest America and to weaken our standing in the world. That is their platform. They desire nothing else. Never forget it.

Not one more dollar was an anti-Vietnam war mantra. You end the US role by having congress cut funds. These people are not only in favor of us running away from Iraq, but abandoning Iraq financially as well. In short, what they want is what happened in Vietnam: the enemy to win.

Withholding funds is how the US ended up abandoning Vietnam to the North and resulting in hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians being killed by the communists. Nice, ain't it? Maybe they think we forgot what happened to the South East Asians.

War is not the answer, unless a Democrat orders it.
