I am stunned that my power is still on after going out five times. This is far, far worse than Katrina was, and my power went out for 3 hours then.

Checking in from Miami Lakes in northwest dade county. Power is out now after going in and out for the last hour. I managed to get a pot of coffee made. Local news is saying we may get some of the worst weather, with the bands around the southern eye wall brushing us.
Dogs are freaked out and I may have to save the computer battery and power down for a while. Mr. Twin2 gave in and put down all the rollodin shutters so we are stuck until the power comes back after the storm.
God speed to all in the path.
