I think it might be offensive to some that when the Taliban had control of afghanistan, they would torture victims, chop oif hands of thieves, stone women convicted of adultery, and whip men for not wearing their hair and beards in accordance with their view of Islam. Oh yeah, no women would be caught outside without her head to toe burka, or they would be killed to. But where was the outrage over that abominable behaviour?
