My wife and I just had out fourth daughter on September 15. She came four weeks early, as my wife was experiencing preclemsia and low anionic fluid. She came out crying and immediately began experiencing breathing problems. Jennifer was taken to NICU and was released two weeks later. Currently she has a voracious appetite and wakes us up every two to three hours.
The level of care and expertise at the NICU is laudable. They rarely lose a child. However, seeing your child hooked up to IV’s and machines is traumatic. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your friend, her husband and child.

I don't know about good vibes. But prayer goes up to HIM that can. May HE allow this tiny baby the gift of a long and eventually healthy life, in Jesus's name so be it.

You have created this tiny, precious life, and You have filled this beautiful child with Your love. Now we pray for Your strength to flow through him, fortifying him for the life that lies ahead for him, and giving him everything he needs to be established in the good health You want for all Your children. Be with his mother and help her to recover quickly so that her arms can be ready to hold and love her beautiful child. We are confident, Lord, that You will provide everything that this family needs. Our precious granddaughter was born at 32 weeks weighing 2 lbs. 2 and 1/2 ounces.
Today she is a perfectly healthy and wonderfully normal two year old.
