Actually, I believe the debunking was debunked. I don't know what to make of it. Both sides make good points.
It's hard to believe there'd be a big ole' ape critter out there, but you never know.

The footage itself is intresting...The muscles seem to flex and relax as the creature moves, much more sophisticated than any costume I have seen. It has not been debunked, well it was but later the debunkers were debunked. Although the creature barely notices patterson or if so, barely gives a damn about him this would not be surprising. Much larger creatures do not readily run from humans.

Also it is funny that Patterson while dying of cancer and in need of funds for treatment did not start making another movie. Instead he went to the Himalayas to investigate a captured Yeti...although that yeti was a hoax. He died not soon after claiming it to be real until the end.
