There are some who believe one of Tesla's "death ray" experiments caused the Tunguska explosion! The morning of the Tunguska explosion he was playing around with it - he indeed managed turn an owl into charcoal that flew in front of the beam.

Even on FR there are folks who see as a panacea, Hydrogen, fuel cells, and He3, without a clue as to the science or the economics behind the issues. Wishful thinking and very misguided. Ethanol and cooking oil seems like a better alternative, though appear to be less sexy in the Federal Grant Trolling Department.

Got in trouble shaving my nose hair. The EPA caught me and accused me of destroying a designated wilderness area, and a Wetland to boot!

I believe they are trying to raise money for a feature film, as it states on the website. You know, like the X-files?

The problem is that he developed, designed and built most of his inventions in his head. He kept very few notes or journals
Not many people know that he is the true inventor of radio, AC current, electric motors and even remote control.

I have no idea. I've never been to Niagara Falls. But I understand Tesla did a lot of work up there, too. I would be surprised if they took it down.

OTOH, maybe it's not a ripoff but a parody. Well, you could be right. "Angel Biscotti" looks a lot like tha actress Yancy Butler.

Wonderful!
I love our side so much better than the Canadian side.
Can you still walk over the Bridal Veil Falls?
I want to take my girls next spring. We got a little cheapie used pop-up and can now camp.
Cleveland to NF is not bad, Detroit to NF needs an overnight.

One of my fellow techs at ATEX was reading a book on Tesla in 1985. I just remember the Wainwright (sp) Towers on the cover.

What would you say if I told you If they explained how the AC electric generator works, that would be a start.

His practical invention of the AC motor tipped the balance of AC vs DC in AC's favor, ultimately ending Edison's DC power distribution plans. Well said...Mr Edison was not a fan of Nikola. Just saw the Edison AC-dog electrocution promotion done to scare potential AC consumers. Edison versus General Electric (and Tesla)....interesting stuff.

I though Edison owned General Electric and it was Westinghouse he had the battle with.

Before knocking this, do some research. His theories are all based on scientific fact, and sound research. Probably one of the greatest geniuses in the field of electrical engineeringIndeed. And he would have amassed wealth to rival the oil magnates if he had not let Westinghouse off the hook. Tesla was offered $2.00 for every electric motor sold. Westinghouse was in a financial pinch and Nicolas told him he could skip it.
His papers were confiscated following his death by "immigartion officials,"
