TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Police used tear gas to break up a rock-throwing crowd that had gathered to protest a planned march Saturday by the National Socialist Movement.
At least two dozen members of a Roanoke, Va.-based group that calls itself "America's Nazi Party" had gathered at Wilson Park just before noon and were to march under police protection.

Think about what your saying.. I don't give a rats arse what the 'real' intent may have been for the nazi jerks protest, but like anyone else in this country they have the right to free speech. Blacks excercise that right very well. But to say that if the Nazi's didn't have their little protest this would not happen is the same as saying, keep your mouth shut or else!
Perhaps if more of us used the Second Amendment solution, scenes like this would disappear from the landcape. As the folks in NYC found out after Crown Hgts., you have no 'right' to expect police protection in such circumstaces. IOW, you're on your own.

I don't buy that at all. The mob is threatening and stealing from people who have nothing to do with the Nazis. Attacking innocent people is criminal, and should be treated as criminal.

All I can say is wow. I posted the Fox News entry for this on foxnews.com, only to have it pulled as a dupe, which led me here, the contect of which matches, but, the actual story of which was not something I found under any search.
As an Ohioan, with out of staters right an left on the roads here these days in support of undermining our election process, what is going on in Toledo is salt on the wound. That news organizations are trying to say it's a Neo-Nazi thing when so many if not almost all of the rioters and looters are Black, just confirms what I have learned of my fellow man over the last few years, namely, that the racism in this country no longer comes from Whites.

No. It's not. They have a right to speak certainly. But there's also a responsibility that comes with that right. The nazis helped no one as that wasn't their goal.

I have studied martial arts for years and been in a lot of fights.
I live in a big city and have had to fight on a few occasions. It's not fun, and even with my years of training and years of weight lifting I do not feel secure in a street brawl. I don't know how people can truly believe that mothers and grandmothers can do the job of protecting me or anyone else from violent thugs!
I am not a thug or a fighter, but even in the days when I trained regularly against lady black belts, never once met one I couldn't beat the snot out of in any kind of confrontation, and despite what anyone tells you, all skilled men go EASY ON LADY BLACK BELTS.
When I call a cop, I want a giant with muscle to show up. Not Martha Stewart with a uniform, gun, attitude and swagger.
