They may gain a few local seats now but more later!
Right now most members of Congrees are socialist or socialist lite!

maybe on the state level, but nationally this country has a 2 party mindset and unless something really drastic happens, I don't think that is going to change too soon....

They'd do better to meld with the Texas GOP and pull the GOP to the right.

I'm getting a lot of lobbying to join the Constitution party from within my own household.

that's quite alright...I don't need to read anything like that...
For the same reasons I won't read any of Rush's books or anything else.
Political books bore the crap out of me. Always have, always will.

Democrat is socialistic.
Republican is socialist lite.
Libertarian is anarchy.

Only vote CP if you think the candidate can win. That means local office and such right now. State level may be a few years off.
Let's not blow the Hillary thing in '08.

Democrat is socialistic. Republican is socialist lite. Libertarian is anarchy. Constitution Party is futile.
To: Killborn
Not possible. To many bribes and buy outs from special interests in both main parties.
Has the GOP listened to its core the last 10 years?
How many former democrats are now members of the GOP?

I disagree somewhat.
- Democrat - Socialist
- Republican - Neocon
- Libertarian - Bastard offspring of the above two listed

Dixie will rise again!
Seriously, if Bush and the Republicans don't start governing by the principles they ran on, it will be either the Constitution Party or the Southern Independence Party for me!

Right now I would only vote CP if a) I preferred the candidate and the candidate could win, or b) I preferred the CP candidate, and the Republican is someone who is conservative enough that I would be ok with them as a second choice, and they are already guaranteed to win by a large margin (which never happens in California!)

Oh, and c) there aren't any other conservatives running, and aren't any Republicans that even come close to being acceptable. Then there's no point in voting for the Republican as a second choice if they're really an unacceptable choice.

No offense, but where do you think most of these people come from? I have been attempting just what you suggest for 2 decades. To what ends? How much of a "right" turn has the Republican Party made? No, both National Party's have set themselves up to feed from the trough, and make it quite clear, vote for us, doesn't matter which one of us, then sit down and STFU! Thanks, but I've had my fill!
