the ACLU sees the Bill of Rights as an instrument of National Suicide. They never miss a chance to implement their goals of destroying America.

I guess the NFL official has never been to a NY Giants home game.

Well, I[ve got to agree with questioning the legality of the patdowns, as we have done in Cincinnati
I associate patdown activity AFTER being arrested. This is, arrested for a certain crime.

This case should be thrown out early in the process. Nobody is subject to mandatory search. Only those chosing to submit to search in order to get into a crowded football stadium. Supply and demand says that if enough people stay home because of the search policy.... the policy will change :)

They implemented this policy this year at Candlestick, ehr Three Com, oops, Monster Park, Home of the 49 ers. Now I know what is bothering me. It is not our lousy team, it is not the poor decisions of the new coach, it is not the fact that our front line cannot block, nor can our corner backs defend against the pass. It is the fact that MY RIGHTS HAVE BEEN VIOLATED!!

As I stated on a previous thread, I believe the NFL has adopted this policy for all stadiums for protection. People don't realize that you don't have to go through a pat down. If it bothers you so much you can just stay home and watch/listen to the game on TV/radio. I don't see how this differs from airport security IMHO. Of course if someone gets into a stadium and commits a terrorist act the ACLU will then be screaming about how nothing was done to protect the people.AWB

Hey, I LIKE the pat-downs. Its the main part of my sex-life.

I WORK at Lincoln Financial Field and even we have to go through pat-downs to get in. The only things that are bombed at game time are the fans!
I wonder if anyone patted down the Oklahoma suicide bomber?

I experienced the pat down at the Texans game last weekend. It was no big deal, lasted about 1 second. Clearly they were looking for items around the chest/waist area.
I still think I am due a refund because of the Texans performance on the field.

What "right" is being violated and who does the patdowns?
Has anybody been arrested as the result of a patdown?

If he refuses the search, he should be refunded his ticket price.
