LOL!!

I don't know what happened to my two girlymen "senators" but I'm fed up with those two bozos. They can forget about my vote from now on. Both of them are trying to turn Iraq into "another Vietnam" and I won't stand for it. McCain should know better. Policy made by braindead politicians got him shot down in Vietnam.

I tried for years to at least respect McCain, because he did go through a lot in Vietnam and deserves our appreciation for that-but his actions have made it impossible to respect him as a Senator.

He seems to feel that he has earned the right to destroy America-I disagree.

Same here. I didn't vote for him last time because of his weird ideas. Didn't vote for the Dem either. I don't know what has gotten in to McCain. I'm also disappointed that Kyl didn't vote against this amendment. I thought he had more sense than that. I'm waiting for McCain to hang it up so Hayworth can get that Senate seat. McCain is wasting it.

Senator Wayne Allard is my senator, and I'm proud to be represented by him. He's been a true conservative on every issue. He's also one of the few congresscritters who's not a lawyer. He's a veterinarian, and his election slogan was "Send a Vet to Congress!"

On the other hand, my other senator is Ken Salazar, a lawyer who tried to present himself as a farmer during his campaign. He's also one of the despicable Gang of 14.

I think that many people are missing the true significance of this vote. It is not that the United States will now go soft on captive terrorist suspects; U.S. interrogators were not likely to use torture before this vote. So as a practical matter, it will have no effect.

However, it has enormous potential as a propaganda tool against the United States. The 90 senators have sent the message to the world that our side was using torture. Their vote confirms the very worst accusations made by the likes of Dick Durban regarding our treatment of prisoners at Guantanamo. They should be ashamed of themselves.

It is well past time to make Tom Coburn Majority Leader, Jeff Sessions whip and Jim Inhofe caucus chair. These guys are the cream of the GOP crop. When are we going to ditch Limp Wrist Frist?

Sen. Tom Coburn (Okla.)

The greatest GOP Senator I have seen in along time. If only for daring to tell John Roberts that he thinks Justices who cite international law in the SCOTUS should be impeached.

Michael Savage got it right when he rejected McCain and Graham's claims that "we cannot be as cruel as the terrosits are". Savage said we need to be MORE cruel, MORE brutal, MORE inhumane than the terrorists are. It is the only thing they respect and fear. It is the only way to win.

I'd love to see a Jeff Sessions/Haley Barbour ticket in '08. In either order.

Kyl suprised me too, I would never in my wildest nightmare have dreamed he would vote that way.

The only answer to McCain's actions that I can think of, is that he has been led to believe that he is setting himself up to run on the Democrat ticket, for President in 2008. He could never get past the Republican Primaries. And despite what the Dims and their MSM have conned him into believing, he would turn into an also ran, way back in the race to the democrats primary. I can take no pleasure at all in watching as he aids and abets the sleezy Dims in their destruction of him. He d*mn well deserves better than that.

Sen. Tom Coburn (Okla.) Sen. Thad Cochran (Miss.) Sen. John Cornyn (Tex.) Sen. James M. Inhofe (Okla.) Sen. Pat Roberts (Kan.) Sen. Jeff Sessions (Ala.) Sen. Ted Stevens (Alaska)

Finally, someone who understands what is at stake. Are any of these men running for President?

The fact that there are 90 senators who think our military is capable of torturing and needs to be constrained by a bunch of corrupt politicians says a lot.

When the RNC called tonight asking for a donation, I told them to take me off their call list. I will be donating to every single candidate who goes up against these guys in their next primary.
