Howard Dean is confusing Bush to the last president. Bush married a attractive heterosexual. Clinton chased everything that moved.

Yes, I understood it to be a euphemism for hetero sex as well.

Not this sh!t again ...
MATTHEWS: I mean, the Dean scream was good material, like the ride in the tank was good material for the Republicans when they went after Mike Dukakis.
DEAN: Well, as you know very well, based on Diane Sawyer's report on ABC, that didn't exactly happen the way it was shown on television 700 times that week. But leaving that aside, I think it's very clear.
MATTHEWS: I know: it was a directed mike. I understand the technology.

Finally! I've been waiting, tapping my foot, to see how long before *some* Dem raised this, as a natural growth product (har!) of their "cronyism" charge. It took them this long? Wow. They are losing their touch.

It is slang for anal sex between two menNo, lol -- it's not. This 'innuendo" goes long back before gays came out of the closet. It's a classic "hetero" sex line.

Yikes! Brings back memories of the old Boston Garden though. Ah the memories of having beer dumped on me from the upper levels. It's the small things you remember. ;-)

Me as well. I had never heard it specifically used as a homosexual slang term, but have heard it used an many occasions as referring to an act between consensual adults.
Like mewzilla says...ewwwww.

HA! I saw him say that last night... what a maroon! If Bush... or ANY other Republican made such a stupid flub... it would've made page one in the MSM/DNC!

They are probably right. I heard it in the 7th or 8th grade as a remark about two obviously gay teachers. I just assumed it meant gay stuff, as I really never heard it afterward.

1. We were using the term as a euphemism for plain old sex way back in college in the 70's, although I supposed it could be used for gay sex, too.
2. Accusing Bush and Miers for playing hide the salami - can't Dean stop the politics of personal destruction? Can't we all just move on? What's with those sexually repressed prudish Democrats anyway?

He just doesn't know what the phrase means. He thinks it has something to do with keeping things a secret.
