I wonder why they keep all the blinds closed?
Wow, this is getting curiouser and curiouser. Thanks for the update.
"The government is just trying to be prudent and responsible."
How? By hiding a potential threat to its citizenry?
Is "civil strife" you mention as a possibility WORSE than several hundred Americans getting blown to bits at a sporting event?
Don't make excuses for this Administration that seems hellbent to shield America from knowledge that may prevent terror attacks. See "Able Danger" for more on gov't coverups of terror investigations.
PKM, DFU, HR: Isn't this the place that Joel Jihad is supposed to have visited.
I'll ping it out if I get an affirmative.
That's my understanding.
"Because the leftists in the media will never validate Bush's War on Terror, even if it means all of us die in a jihadist bloodbath.
My raw hatred for the liberal media grows more and more each day."
A. I'm not seeing anything about this on the supposedly-conservative FOX News.
B. The gov't could be doing more to publicize this as well.
C. Able Danger.
Yes. Some very bad people have visited here.
Thanks for the info!
I just hope that the FBI or SOMEBODY is on top of it !
There wasn't much coverage in media - maybe on purpose...
I think 'they' are just testing our defences.
Why Oklahoma ??
g'night. need the beauty sleep.
Good night, HR. You deserve the good night's sleep.
Nam Vet
His bomb went off at 8 PM...same local time as the Bali suicide bombs went off on Saturday. Same day. Same time.
You call that a mistake?!
They do love leaving little hoof prints all over the place. They also love symbolism and "timing".
But of course, this was a random act of some weirdo loner, nothing to do with terrorists. /sarcasm
Who Else is Sick, Tired and Not Taking It Anymore from the MSM?
Another photo ping; this time of the infamous Islamic Center in Norman. As FReeper DFU points out, this place has been a popular location with not only Joel Jihad but also several others in the recent past.
Again, if these posts are too many and you want off the individual post pings, please let us know. We'll still ping you on the threads.
The link you originally pointed to on the other thread was actually for September ( http://www.normanmosque.org/Prayer%20Times/September.txt ). It appears their times go backwards by about 1 minute everyday.
I changed the link URL to read October and came up with the following Prayer Times Listing for the Norman Mosque:
http://www.normanmosque.org/Prayer%20Times/October.txt
October:
Starting the last Sunday, subtract one hour from all times
Date ---Fajr --- SunR --- Dhuhr --- Asr --- Mgrb --- Isha
1 ----- 6:00 --- 7:25 --- 1:20 ---- 4:41 --- 7:14 --- 8:39
Actually if the blast came at 7:20 it could be it happened at the close of prayers... If it came closer to 8:00 as has been reported many places, that could mean that he began his "final journey" after prayer time. Speculation of course... I do think it perhaps was tied in to the Bali bombings, but again that's just speculation.
Did you see that story (on another thread) that described how Boren got a muslim student a work-study job at the campus after he was a target of "hate speech"? The two students who were involved in this incident were disciplined by OU.
Hate speech, my foot (excuse the lingo). The muslim guy was later accused of being involved in sending threats to others.
I wouldn't put much faith in our local FBI office either. Norman police actually do a very good job for the little manpower they have for anything of this magnitude.
Isn't that the truth -- getting longer and longer!
Well, I should have put a sarcasm tag.
The entertainment is better at big schools, but I like knowing everybody on campus and having small classes where profs actually care how you are doing.
