If your wife and kids are safe at home in a town that is not yet infected, but that the government deems needs to be "quarantined" just to prevent political backlash (can anyone say 500 mile radius?), and you come home from work to get them out before they are actually infected and hit a military road block that fires on you, I am "just wondering" how you'll feel then.
I don't think that would be cause for evacuation. You would be better off staying at home to avoid contraction.
