© 2005 WorldNetDaily.com Local and federal agents were carting away what was described as a huge cache of explosives from the apartment of the 21-year-old student who blew himself up outside the stadium where 84,000 watched a Sooners football game.
Joel Henry Hinrichs III, 21, a junior from Colorado Springs, Colo., died in the explosion, according to FBI officials.
Investigators believe Hinrichs detonated a bomb about 8 p.m. Saturday, just 100 yards away from the packed football stadium.
Police were overheard telling residents it would take "several trips and could take up to 24 hours" to remove it all, according to the Daily Oklahoman.
A canister trailer used for detonating or transporting potentially explosive material was being used to haul items away.
Officials said Hinrichs' motive for blowing himself up Saturday near the Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium during the second quarter of OU's game against Kansas State remains under investigation.
OU President David Boren said Hinrichs was a student "who had very, serious personal problems that led to this tragic death."
Because of what happened, Boren said, the FBI had taken over the investigation.
Boren said the student had explosives strapped to his body.
Investigators would not say whether they believe Hinrichs intended to go inside the stadium before the detonation happened.

Mom, I was at the game Saturday as well. We sit in section nine which is in the northwest corner of the stadium. I haven't added anything to the discussion because I am in the dark as much as everybody else. All I know is that something smells about all of this. Stuff just doesn't jive.

Maybe they should do an "entertainment" piece entitled, "Wild Conjecture abounds about the OU Bombing" and expose the unsubstantiated "rumors"... At least that way they could get the stuff out in the "open" and possibly force the authorities to come clean?

I searched this thread for the evidence that he had a roommate who is Pakistani. Who is reporting this info?
On the first thread, someone reported that the Muslims hang around those apts looking angrily at Americans and doing not much of anything. The poster wondered how many were here on "student visas". There is no doubt that the Islamic religious centers provide convenient cover for terrorist activity. All I hope is that one of the reasons the FBI is remaining silent is that they have infiltrated this center already.
sadly, i highly doubt this is the case. the only way the truth will come out of this is if the media tips their hand. the fbi and other law enforcement are there as clean up nothing more.
I dunno, to me that would be like them being dead. Glad you can keep a good opinion. What turned them on to it, 9/11? Cause there's certainly no value or salvation or interest to it other than violence. And believe me, I've looked.
Just scouted around a few sites and can't find any valid source for the info on the roommate. He is described as "Pakistani", "Middle Eastern", and "Muslim" on various sites.
Might a reverse search of the Park View address turn up a name?
