Maybe because she is thorough and doesn't make erroneous decisions based upon a snap judgement. In my business, when I do a business analysis, I drill down very deeply on the information gathering phase of a project. Then, I bring in a dozen or more resources to execute the newly adopted business plan.

An old addage in the steel industry is, "Measure twice, cut once."

This isn't business and asking a lot of input from a lot of sources when making a decision is asking for trouble.

Trying to discern the ramifications of EVERYTHING is often like herding cats. One must start from a base of convictions and follow that forward while looking at decisions already made.

I do distrust the ability of those who are so enmeshed in trivia and breadcrumbs. With good reason, I might add without going into my own experiences.
