Where he was located would, in my opinion be one of the least traveled sectors during halftime. Most of the gathering areas are NE and SE.

Most everything west of the stadium is high reserved parking and class rooms. There are usually many buses parked on the road west of the stadium. They could be teams buses or tour buses. If people were leaving at halftime for the reason I would leave, the closest pubs are out the east exits and north or south.
