Interesting, since No Child Left Behind was a Kennedy initiative.

Huh? It was sponsored in the House by Republican Rep. John A. Boehner, and cosponsored by Tom Delay, John Culberson, Richard Baker, Dennis Hastert, Henry Brown, Jim Kolbe, and a host of other republican reps.

The bill was officially sponsored by Republicans, but there were plenty of DemonRats who thought that NCLB is just great and that the only problem with it is that not enough money is being spent on it.

According to Sean Hannity, Kennedy said 'Pass NCLB and you'll get your private school vouchers,' a pledge that he and his fellow DemonRats later reneged on.
