My parents always made us drink milk every day. And I still do. How's a bone scan different from an MRI? Undiagnosed fevers...well, I get sick a lot but I always assumed I had a really crappy immune system. Lethargy? Um...nah, just laziness.
Your post wasn't aimed at me...but find a doctor who will listen to you. My symptoms of Lupus for 15 years before they put 2+2 together. It's not common in men.
But, we have a fantastic Doctor that really listens and doesn't blow things off. She figured it out, and his quality of life is much, much better.
Osteomyelitis (infection in the bone) can cause pain and fevers and lethargy.
MRI's give more detail about soft tissue problems (as distinct from bone problems).
If you FReepmail me with more information about your injury and symptoms and what's been done, I could do a Medscape search for information on what might be going on, what might help...just to give you some ideas about what to ask your doctor about...
I always wanted one of those little handheld medscan diagnostic computers that Dr. McCoy had on StarTrek. "Weedle..weedle...weedle" and you have an answer....
