If you are a hunter you already know the answer to that question. There are people in the woods during hunting season who can't tell the difference between a deer and a pickup truck.

Which is why hunters should NEVER get the luggage rack option on their hunting vehicle. Looks just like whitetail antlers. I was rabbit hunting one time and crossed paths with some other hunters. About the time I am broad side of them about 50 yards away, they jump a rabbit and it ran right at me. I turned my back to them just in time to get sprayed with the buckshot. Didn't draw any blood fortunately. I just hustled on away from the moron for fear I would shoot back.

Amen to that. But sometimes those pickup trucks are good targets.

I was hunting in the woods near my parents house in NC about 20 yrs ago, wearing blaze orange hat, vest, and trousers because it was deer season, when I heard some dogs behind me. I was near the road so I started toward it staying in pretty good view of the road. All of a sudden some idiots in a truck on the side of the road start lobbing lead into the woods right past me. I dropped to the ground yelling (I wasn't hit) and they kept shooting. So I started shooting back. I got a couple tires, but they got out of there quick.

I got their tag number through my scope and reported it to the sherrif, but never heard any more about it. I hope they learned their lesson, but I doubt it.

So true. I like to walk in the woods behind my home (we live in a semi rural area) and during hunting season, my husband won't let me go back there without orange hat, vest and so on....
