I attended the Code Pink protest and FreeRepublic counter-protest at Walter Reed Army Medical Center last Friday night. As usual, the "peace loving" Code Pink folks were anything but. Shortly after arriving, I noticed they were harrasing a couple that was there to also document the event on video.

Excellent. Always bring two cameras - so in case they go after one cameraman, you can whip out the second and document it!
The Code Pinkos look just like one would imagine a bunch of smelly, ugly, pro-Stalinist, hate-America, POS. It's nice to see their mugs on the web in any case. They need exposure.
I didn't see anything that looked like an assault.........
Talk about shut up and DON'T sing....
I couldn't tell, but was that big guy in the pink hat Janet Reno?
that was painful. worse than the assault...
Why are all the pinkos holding phallic objects??
Good God.
"All we are saying...is give peace a chance...All we are..."
Couldn't someone have stuffed a sock or something in that womans mouth? That was distressing.
Dont all freepers carry mace?
I am sure picture DSC_0239-01 [#23 of 58] was meant to mimic old nazi flags. I find it frightening/startling either way. Anything goes, I guess.
That's gotta be the funniest video I've seen in years.
I know it's not meant to be, but that is hilarious.

It was there, just a little off camera. Could have been battery, though, and not assult. If someone touches something that you are holding it becomes battery. Not sure if they touched the woman or the camera.
An assault invoves:
1. An intentional, unlawful threat or "offer" to cause bodily injury to another by force;
2. Under circumstances which create in the other person a well-founded fear of imminent peril;
3. Where there exists the apparent present ability to carry out the act if not prevented.
Note that an assault can be completed even if there is no actual contact with the plaintiff, and even if the defendant had no actual ability to carry out the apparent threat. For example, a defendant who points a realistic toy gun at the plaintiff may be liable for assault, even though the defendant was fifty feet away from the plaintiff and had no actual ability to inflict harm from that distance.

It's hard to tell on the compressed video, but as I approach her she is surrounded by 4 moonbats, two of whom are bumping her and touching her camera. I believe that's simple assault.
Possibly not assault (although it did appear that the moonbat with the pink sign/flag did hit one of the videographers or his camera with the sign/flag), but definitely harrassment and obstruction. And it could be argued that the moonbat who kept singing "all we are saying is give peace a chance" was assaulting everyone in earshot with her hideous wailing.
