The ChiComs will need to thin the herd or expand the empire to quiet things down if this is a growing problem.
No doubt about it. It is estimated that:
- at least 40 per cent of the Chinese have tuberculosis
and
- there's a surplus of at least 40 million male Chinese, due to the one-child law
The population of China will make a slow spiral down, and that's the best news for China. The consequences which follow will be too terrible to deal with, particularly on such a scale. I'd be very surprised if China doesn't go to war with someone adjacent to their territory within ten years.
