The indictment is as bogus as a $3 bill.

Does it mention that DeLay is a Republican? That is an indictable offense by Democrats.

The great one calls this what it is, a disgrace. Democrats like Earle have proven they will abuse the power of office to strike against political opponents. That is not rule of law, it is more like the SS.

It's good to hear that, I have alot of respect for Mark Levin, but if Tom De Lay did something wrong I think he should be treated like anyone else. I'm taking a wait and see attitude. Housecleaning is not a bad thing for our party. Look at the Democrats they keep criminals like Hillary(campaign finance laws violator) and Ted Kennedy around, and how's that working out for them?

I honestly believe that unless there's more, this is an egregious abuse of prosecutorial power. It's a disgrace.

This is encouraging to read. I hope this turns out to be a tempest in a teacup, and that the Dems all get tea stains.

LEVIN: "You would think if Ronnie Earle had even a thin reed of testimony linking DeLay to the contribution, it would have been noted in the indictment to justify the grand jury's action."

Indeed, Mark...

As usual, Levin exposes the Democraps as purveyors of slander and innuendo.

I said this on another thread - and it bears repeating here:

And .. front and center on TV - Martin Frost - who sent his own staff member to STEAL DeLay's redistricting plan - right off DeLay's desk - and the guy was caught on video. Once again we have FOX News giving credibility to a criminal. Good job FOX.[/s]

However, since Frost lost his re-election bid in 2004 - I believe he's been out for Delay's hide ever since .. and with a equally vehement prosecutor in TX, this indictment was not unexpected.

It's just payback from all those TX democrats (you remember - the ones who ran off to other states rather than do their duty and vote) ..??

THE DEMOCRATS HAVE NO AGENDA FOR THE 2006 ELECTION - THEIR ONLY HOPE IS THE POLITICS OF PERSONAL DESTRUCTION AGAINST THE REPUBS.

"Bring it on".

Ok, WAR has been declared, lets fight it on their field, by their rules. If the dems want to use political prosecution to get back the power that the voters aren't inclined to give them, I say fine. It should be open season on every democrat that is within the jurisdiction of a Republican prosecutor.

There must be a RAT somewhere who needs a reprieve from media attention. This is just another smokescreen by the RATS to protect their own. The end always justifies the means with these cretins.

I'm surprised so many Freepers on the other thread assume that DeLay may be guilty of something. This isn't the first time that this prosecutor has brought false charges, and they have been subsequently dismissed. These Freepers must not have kept up with Texas politics over the past few years.

I'm sure DeLay will fight it. And I hope the Republican leadership refuses to remove him from his house position until the charges have been proven--which is highly unlikely.

Stand fast and fight back.
