It sounds like the dog didn't make it. The reporter said he tried to climb out the grate so they could get him Then the dog panicked and swam into a tunnel. He said he has not seen him again. The only way he could have made it was to make it through the tunnel. The reporter didn't think he could have made it through the tunnel.

Oh, I hate to hear that. Poor little animals have really had it bad in N.O. I pray that he somehow makes it.
