Hi, Meg - I understand about the slow dialup and overloaded computer. My old pc didn't have a very large harddrive or memory, but usually I could load the graphics in a decent amount of time because I deleted my temporary files and history every day and generally tried to keep it *cleaned up* pretty well.

Finally broke down and bought a new one a couple of weeks ago (was not anxious to go from Windows 98SE to Windows XP), and it's amazing how fast it is, even though I'm still on dial up. I should have done this a long time ago! :)

I delete my files several times a day..I use history for favorites because favorites got lost in my last recovery from fatal error. (the repair person did it)....I can't even delete a lot of stuff..can't find it..It's lost !

I think I better keep history only one day though. Thanks for the tip..I hate to miss the great pictures and graphics.

This is a handmedown..My son forced it on me to bring me into the computer age...It is loaded with off line genealogy, my grandson's stuff and programs I don't use..

It is a 95 and too old to fool with..I am at my daughter's so much that I haven't upgraded here as I have a newer one with XP there.

Here it is nice to have..but it is much more difficult to move along! I do get chores done while waiting for it to load at times!
