The best thing this storm could do it turn N and plow into NO again. I'd rather we have to rebuild one major city/port instead of two.

This is not the best thing for the people who lives in or near New Orleans. Such facile comments show a lack of sensitivity to the many real people who are under the gun from these storms. If you are having a good time watching the fun and thinking about your favorite target city, then keep it to yourself. Please.

I've lived through a CAT 5 hurricane...have you?

If Rita hits Houston, do you have any idea the economic impact it will have on this country? NO is already pretty trashed, and Rita would have much less devasating effects if it hit NO and not Houston.

I'm not being insensitive...I'm being a realist. This storm is not going to go away...it is going to hit someone on the Gulf coast. Looking at the big picture, it would be better if it hit a city that is already evac'd, as opposed to a metropolis.
