Former Congressman Scott McInnis got "Healthy Forests' thru Congress and signed by Bush.
Now we need to fight to get the USFS to actually follow this law.
The USFS sometimes try, but the Sierra Club makes allot of money in lawsuit settlements. Which then is spent on future lawsuits.
If the Sierra Club lawyers can drag out a court case for years, then the economic value of the the trees is often not enough to pay for the clean-up.
Just part of their strategy.

Speaking of Scott Mcginnis one of my favorite people in congress, I wished he would run for the Senate...does anyone know what he is doing now? Probably got sick of the bull, could not find a more tireless congressman, a real patriot! (I know I probably butchered his name.)
