How dare they make decisions based on profit and money! This defeats the whole concept of socialism and communism!! These people champion those notions, how can they betray their core beliefs! How right wing of them!!

. . . nothing says "justice" than man-hating feminists soaring past menopause and growing old alone with two cats . . .

Oh, sure it does. Try this one - a bottle of cheap booze, and a vi..., uh, sex toy, with bad wiring, that short circuits at a critical moment.

I can't help but believe that the Internet AND FreeRepublic (Thank You JimRob) have had a hand in their demise. Congratulations.

However I believed that this was going to happen sooner, back during the Clinton Administration and with the help of the likes of Drudge.

This is truly a time to celebrate.

Journalism and the press are being brought to task. There is a God.

New York Times Co. (NYSE:NYT - news) on Tuesday said it would cut about 4 percent of its work force, or 500 jobs, and warned that weaker newspaper advertising and rising costs could reduce earnings to less than half of Wall Street forecasts this quarter.

And so it goes: the owners drive the company into the ground while conforming to a political philosophy that contributes to its destruction.

Such happiness. Such peace. May those prominent in this anti-American paper freeze to death in the dark, and do so most unfashionably.

An admirable sentiment, charmingly put. My compliments, sir or madam, as the case may be.

I'm sure Michael Moore will show up and demand to meet with management and find out why they are laying people off. (Right?)

Well, I think the two faced management jerks ought to give up their salaries and bonuses to help pay to keep these old hippies and pinkos employed! These papers have slammed other companies for paying "huge" salaries over laying off employees--have they not?! Lead by example, you maggots! Oh, but I guess it doesn't count for you--does it?!?

Can't we set up a contest to vote a reporter or opinion writer off the "ivory tower"?
