Hillary wants the white house...needs moderate votes...will vote for Roberts...

Only power matters to her...ethics or integrity do not count.

Bench memos highlights the following:

The LA Times says Roberts should be confirmed.

http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/editorials/la-ed-roberts20sep20,0,2065359.story?coll=la-news-comment-editorials

Their editorial begins: "IT WILL BE A DAMNING INDICTMENT of petty partisanship in Washington if an overwhelming majority of the Senate does not vote to confirm John G. Roberts Jr. to be the next chief justice of the United States."

And now there is room for nominee number two: HER name is Janice R. Brown!

And if they try to stop us... option nuclear is the solution!

Who expected anything different.

I predict now that, no matter who the next nomination by Bush is, Harry Reid will vote against him or her.

I predict that Roberts will get 100% votes against from the senators from Massachussets New York, California, and Washington..

Has Reid not seen the Gallup poll that says 60% of the people want Roberts confirmed?

As neat and accurate a summing-up as I can imagine.

Coop,

If the LA Times is even remotely responsible (a looong stretch for an LSM member), they will. If they don't,l they'll yet again show how incredibly biased and wacky they are.

So when his poll numbers were in the mid 50's after his election and the Dems staged the Boxer Rebellion in an attempt to deny his elective win in the House and the Senate, what was their excuse then? He was still vulnerable?

Bogus.

Poll numbers have nothing to do with it. They "Borked" Bork. They pulled up Anita for Thomas. And they would stage a filibuster over Roberts IF they can get enough 'red' state Dems to go along with it JUST because they are Democrats. They are Liberals. They are owned by moveon.org and they FEAR losing the one unelected branch that sides with THEM more than not.

That is all this is about, the result would be the same no matter what.

And I don't really CARE what the Dems do. As I have said all along, it's what the RINO'S do that needs to be watched.

Shouldn't this be in "Super-Duper Breaking" as it was totally not expected. /sarcasm.
