billie, the easiest way to me has been to put all on an external hard drive(I now have 4). that is easily movable from one computer to another & good for trips. using the CDs etc is the pits

I know that you have several external hard drives and that would be the ideal way, but I don't really want to buy one -know it's tedious, but I'll get there before much longer this way. :)

In February of this year, when I had my old pc reformatted, they copied the entire hard drive and loaded it back on - it was as much a mess then as now!
