Dolly, did you get a new monitor with your computer? If so, I think your monitor needs to be calibrated a bit. I had to work with mine a long time before I got the colors right. I don't know how to tell to do it exactly, but it should explain it in the manual that came with your monitor.

Yep! Been there, done that. What a lifesaver you were, jk! But after all the crying over the LCD monitor I bought a couple of years ago, I learned to LOVE it, and bought the LCD monitor again! I did NOTHING to calibrate this one - it looks almost exactly like the old ones does!

I learned to LOVE it,

I have too! I approached the whole idea of an LCD monitor with extreme trepidation, I knew I was not going to be able to adjust to it, but I love it now. I also love using 1280x1024 screen resolution too. I was SURE that I could not adjust to that and would be going back to 800x600. Now, when I go back to 800x600 (to check the size of one of my graphics for 800x600 users), it looks just AWFUL. Everything so HUGE! I guess it is all what we get used to. That and accepting change gracefully and with an open mind. LOL.
