MARÍA JOSÉ LLERENA | CHARO MARCOS

MADRID.- It will happen on June 30, 2007 . Madrid will be home to the entire European Gay Movement and its streets will celebrate EuroPride, the party where, since 1990, the entire gay community gets together in the Old Continent. The news was announced in London today, where Madrid was chosen over two other candidate cities by (EPOA) EuroPride Organizing Association.

The Madrid candidacy was supported warmly by the people who have organized Pride Week in Madrid (the gays). It was also influenced by the fact that Spain has become "one of the few countries in the world that supports equal rights for the homosexuals"

The Madrid candidacy has the full support of the Zapatero government. The Minister of Culture, Carmen Calvo, signed a letter of support for Madrid EuroPride 2007.

I have a theory about gays. They aren't so much homosexual, but attention getters. They started out hetero, but somewhere along the line craved attention and saw gays were all about "look at ME!" so gravitated to that group.

There are lots of conservative people in Spain. I'm praying they will take back that country which has been on a good path up until the last elections.

In the long haul, the people of Spain will pay for it. Along with the cowardly, socialist government they have in place...

Well, there WAS a time that Spain had something to be proud of, but to do that today is living in the past.

Most folks will bend over backwards for extra attention...but draw the line at bending over forwards.

Well, in addition to getting the Olympics, London now has something else to celebrate--it didn't get the gay pride festival. . .

I would hardly consider the fags innocent. I hate how these people try to force me to accept them. Im like hey if you want to fuck someone of the same sex fine just dont be flaunting it out on the street.

Im not advocating anything but I do think its interesting what these muslim extremists would do to these people. I have yet to hear of a gay pride rally in a muslim country.

If they are not innocent, what are they guilty of and what should their punishment be? Are there people having sex on the street where you are? That would be very upsetting!

Why are you looking or waiting for Al Queda to do something?

So because you disagree with them, you're hoping Osama bin Laden kills them?

Im not advocating anything

"Where's Al Qaeda when you need them?" isn't advocating anything?

I do think its interesting what these muslim extremists would do to these people. I have yet to hear of a gay pride rally in a muslim country.

Do you think that's a good thing? That the West should become more like Taliban-era Afghanistan in its promotion of virtue and its eradication of vice? Are you on the right board?
