It's over, and Vang is going to jail for the rest of his life. The other thing that's over is the charade that was played by the Hmong "elders" pretending to be racially neutral. It all came spilling out; you share the blame because you are white. I hope this little psycho slips and falls in the shower and breaks his freaking neck. He is now legally responsible for six deaths and two serious wounding. I firmly believe that he has more on his conscience that we do not know of (for certain). There have been prior mysterious deaths on "private" property during hunting season that have his MO all over them but for now go unsolved. We can hope.

What bothers me about the reporting is that they are accepting without question Vang's claims that he was racially taunted by his victims.

As a Texan, I have to say that I'm awfully glad that we have the death penalty here. If there was ever a prime candidate, this slime ball is it!

"defense attorney Steven Kohn said racial prejudice was the catalyst for the events, particularly the elder Crotteau's aggressive and hostile demands that Vang leave his property."
This attorney is a real puke!

This guy should swing on a short, strong rope from a tall stout tree ASAP. That's what should happen.

She minimized the role prejudice played in the confrontation and subsequent murders, saying it was a matter between two hunting parties, not a confrontation between people of different races. Thanks for the politically correct spinning! Yeah, that's right.

Don't know how there was any possible way this guy thought he would not get convicted.
Pretty hard to shoot someone in the back and claim they were threatening you.

A much better defense for Vang:
Since I was a young boy near the Cambodian border, late December 1968, I've been tormented by nightmares of a tall, skinny white guy on a SWIFT boat machine-gunning my family in the back.

someone should ask current democrat MN Senate candidate and current Hennepin County attorney Amy Klobachur why she chose to not prosecute Vang for spousal abuse. that would have also banned him from owning a firearm. Are not "strict gun laws" what dims always proport to be the solution to crime?
under MN domestic abuse law, the spouse doesn't have the option to decide whether or not they want to press charges. makes me wonder how Vang got away with it...

It's over, and Vang is going to jail for the rest of his life. Nope it ain't over. Now every bleeding heart red dopier diaper baby lawyer will come out from under the rocks they hide under filling endless appeals. So will all of the Silly-Sheehappless protesters screaming racism both on and off college campuses.

Mass murdering psychopath Chai Soua Vang, not so brave after shooting unarmed civilians in the back.
What bothers me most is the complete lack of remorse by him or his creepy family.
To: Gandalf_The_Gray
Imagine if it was the other way around - a white hunter gunning down 8 Asians. Every Lieberal maroon in the western world would be howling for Federal charges to be brought.
Vang should be charged and prosecuted under Federal civil rights law. But he won't.
If ever there was a "hate" crime, listening to the crap spewing from the mouths of his family members convinces me that this is one.

I imagine that law enforcement/cold case guys are now taking another look at hunter deaths in the local regions near where these victims were shot.
They most certainly have some forensic evidence now that they didn't have before.

I doubt that this was racial on the part of the hunters.
This guy is a murderer and got what he deserved by killing all of those people.
To: Gandalf_The_Gray
The single biggest argument against vang is the fact he shot them in the back as they fled.
Standing a tree stand he was as vulerable as he would ever be. If one of them wanted him dead he'd be dead. They apparently didn't. They apparently were in hasty retreat.
They were apparently hunted down and killed.
Now Vang will have a life in the big house. One can only regret we don't still hang people.
