Not a peep. Killing a child, ripping the guts out and sticking a bomb in the cavity so they coyld blow up the mother. How sick is that?

That's the kind of world they would rather live in, and would rather Iraq's live in.

You won't hear anything from them, because they don't care about these victims. All they care about it their seething hatred for President Bush, and their hatred for America. In their eyes, America can do no right. America is the root of all evil. That war is always evil. That we should be completely unarmed, and once we've shown the world that we are defenseless, then the rest of the world will love us... At least after we've paid tribute and restitution to the rest of the world for all the wrongs we've perpetuated.

These idiots are consumed by guilt. Where the guilt comes from, I have no idea. But it's a peculiarity of the left... It's like a leftist Jew apologizing for the pali terrorist who's about to saw his head off. They're like the environmentalists who believe that the world would be a better place without people in it. Of course, those idiots never include themselves in the list of those the world would be better without, since they're "doing good."

No, you won't hear a peep from them, since as bad as all these things are... The beheadings, the torture, the rapes, the murders... None of these are as bad as "American Imperialism."

This "liberal "guilt" also allows a mainstream media to not even cover the story. Just imagine the headline if a "Right Wing Dictator" backed by Reagan had his fighters battling this way. All major news services would be running pictures of the baby and getting people outraged. NO nothing to see here. You know, I wonder if maybe he isn't doing just that, but in a very roundabout way. Syria is probably afraid to just up and attack these people or kick them out of the country. These terrorists have a pretty clear, and gruesome, track record when it comes to dealing with countries that don't support them. Perhaps, and it's just a PERHAPS, the "wink-wink" agreement with Syria is that they will let these guys come over the border and then we'll handle it from there. This approach can let Syria continue to appear to not oppose them, but at the same time get rid of them. The concept of saving face is of utmost importance in this part of the world. I don't really think it's so, but I would not discount the possibility that Syria is providing info about when these guys are ready to cross the border. Just a thought.

Lieutenant Colonel H. R. McMaster was commissioned in the United States Army upon graduation from the United States Military Academy in 1984. His military education includes the Airborne and Ranger Schools, the Armor Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, the Cavalry Leader’s Course, the U.S. Army Combined Armed Services Staff School, and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.

Lieutenant Colonel McMaster has served in numerous command and staff positions in Armor and Cavalry units in the U.S. and Germany. He has served at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, California. He commanded Eagle Troop, Second Armored Cavalry Regiment in Bamberg, Germany and Southwest Asia during Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and the occupation of Southern Iraq. He commanded the 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry in Schweinfurt, Germany from October, 1999 until June of 2002.

In 1994, McMaster completed his M.A. in history at the University of North Carolina. He taught history at the United States Military Academy from 1994 to 1996. He was awarded a Ph.D. in American History in 1996. He is currently serving as an Army War College Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University. His book, Dereliction of Duty: Lyndon Johnson, Robert McNamara, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Lies that Led to Vietnam, was published in May, 1997. He has published numerous articles on historical and national security affairs topics in edited volumes, newspapers, magazines, and professional journals. His military decorations include the Silver Star Medal.

Lieutenant Colonel McMaster is married to the former Kathleen Trotter of Santa Ana, California. The McMasters have three daughters, Katharine, Colleen, and Caragh.

I received an e-mail yesterday from one of my guys with boots on the ground with the 3rd ACR who was in Tal Afar last week. I was told that Zarqawi was actualy in Tal Afar when the assault started and intel intercepted an SOS directed to some Al Qaida operatives requesting a diversion and extraction from the scene.

I think we might have gotten awful close to getting the B@stard this time. Apparently he was extracted through some hidden tunnels.

Oh well better luck next time.
