I lived there while Edwin was Gov. If nothing things were lively. It was always his contention that if you voted for his opponent you would never know how big a thief you were voting for. On the other hand if you voted for him you knew.

Me too. I'm a Baton Rouge native.

Oh yeah - EWE was a crook; he knew it and we knew it too.

I met EWE on several different occasions. He is alot like I think Clinton is: personable, affable; but shaking hands with him left you feeling like you needed a shower. Slimy - like a televangelist, used car salesman, or career politician.
