Has anyone considered that some GOP voters may be causing the Bush drop as well? I for one, am sick of Bush letting political opportunities slip through his fingers. Not to mention Bush's complete dropping of the ball regarding the GOOD NEWS coming out of Iraq.
In short Republicans have won 7 elections in a row yet Democrats & the Liberal media still call the shots.
The GOP is always playing Defense.
I hope this made sense

No, they are lying for the Left.
As usual, since the dregs of the
family gene pool, was the only one
left, to take over the paper...and
turn it into used toilet paper =
papers, with s*&t all over them...

Has anyone considered that some GOP voters may be causing the Bush drop as well? Of course that factors into the numbers. Most of us are aware of that. But I've also found that many of the disgrunted Pubbies often have a very myopic view of what's going on. Just MHO. I don't like everything the man has done, but it's difficult to argue with success.

Not that I want to stick up for the Times, but the sampling error is a function of sample size. Since the number of blacks in the sample is smaller, the sampling error will be larger. Basically, the Sample error may be calculated as 1 divided by square root of sample size.

Where are the poll numbers on Hillary Clinton NATIONWIDE? How about Ted Kennedy? Nancy Pelosi? How about the Democrat Party as a whole?

"How about the Democrat Party as a whole?"
I think the spelling should be "as a hole"

Gallup Poll
Monday, May 23rd, 2005
polipundit
A new Gallup Poll reports that President Bushs approval rating has fallen to 46%. The internals of the poll are quite favorable to Democrats, so it looks like we are doomed next year.
Well, not quite.
In the survey sample, 36% called themselves Democrats, 29% Republicans. Including those who lean toward a party, 51% were Democrats, 40% Republicans.
This poll is indicative of a state like Pennsylvania, not the United States.

I didn't see a poll at that link.

Don't mistake my voicing frustration & disappoint met with Bush as somehow lacking in vision regarding the big picture. I am acutely aware of the achievements of this administration. Nor am I blind to the danger of Liberal Democrats.
However, when I see Bush Sr. playing golf & fishing with Clinton, I tend to have trust issues. Not to mention learning that Bill and Hillary accepted an invitation to spend some time with GW & Laura in a cook out atmosphere recently. Perhaps it may seem a tad paranoid but it certainly feeds into that "Good Ole Boys Club" myth.
I am not a Republican or "pubbie" as you called it. I am a Conservative who does not vote Democrat. Thank you for your input.
To: Cindy_Cin
I am a Conservative who does not vote Democrat. Understood. I'm a conservative who would vote Democrat more often if the idiots wouldn't run all the conservatives off the plantation.

By the way I never pay attention to polls even if the results seem positive for Conservatives. Sadly, I long ago quit trusting most "news" stories in the MSM as well as polls. Whats the old saying? Its not the people voting that counts, its the people counting those votes.
To: Cindy_Cin
Yep, that's the saying. I see you're fairly new here. Welcome to the forum! It's one of the best resources on the Web.

I am a Conservative who doesn't see myself voting Democrat for many many years unless Zell Miller runs.
To: Condor51
It's a higher MOE for blacks in this survey, because it's a smaller sample size.

I'm with you. Only when a dem is SIGNIFICANTLY more conservative than the GOP, would I consider voting for him/her. Highly unlikely that this situation would occur.
The Dem would have to be much more conservative to offset the fact that they would help add to the Dem party's ranks (leadership positions, etc).
