Sadly I don't know all that much about Hatch, but I am very impressed and certainly interested in learning more and will be watching him closely.

Well if the idiots in the Senate had not decided to place term limits on Committee Chairmanships, Hatch would still be the Chairman of this committee and we'd be done by now and voting. But all and all Specter has done a pretty good job.

Biden does not want anyone to take a "narrow" view of the Constitution. Guess he wants it to live and breathe. Joe is more pitiful than Chuckie.

Kyl...we can't know how Roberts would vote on cases that would come before him....in law, there is something called the best evidence rule...perhaps the best evidence of the kind of person Judge Roberts is is illustrated by the testimony of Ms. Stetson..who talked about her role as a young mother and aspiring partner in his firm...a person he helped to mentor..the kind of things she talked about in Judge Roberts..should not be forgotten...when we consider the nature of the man we are elevating to the nature of the USSC...it may be the best evidence of the way he will rule on cases as well.
