The truth comes out? Shocked the media is telling this. When will blacks catch on to these libs?
Sorry to say this Frank, but wish in one hand and ____ in the other and see which one gets filled up first. No way MSM is going to stop hammering Bush especially since they can see it is working in his poll #'s and he's thrown somebody overboard to the sharks plus accepted blame for the mess. Get ready for them to intensify the attack.
Somebody in that corrupt political LA must have leaked this to get rid of this guy? Why would ABC do this? It's just not in the mode of "Bush is Bad."
Why can't I find this on DU?
Yes. No (R) after the name. Smells like a Rat.
Seems Congressman Jefferson didn't want to be separated from his laptop and other items. Makes you wonder why.
Dont count on it ..The MSM is fanatical in it's Blame Bush agenda . They already have 3/4 of the world ignoring the real culprits in this tragedy and have convinced most that it's Bush's fault. Bush I thing also believes the MSM and seems to have his tail between his legs as he done a lot lately. Just ONCE I'd like to see the President come out , armed with facts and photos (like those here on FR) and hammer the hell out of his detractors. Why wont he ? Why won't anyone in the party come out and tell it like it really is regarding the hurricane?
LOL, THAT one hasn't showed up on Google yet! Just like the New Orleans schoolbuses!!
He's a black politician (D), he gets a free pass.
Should repost this news article on democraticunderground.. see how long it takes them to figure out it is about a Democrat.
I worked for the Ways and Means committee before beginning law school and Jefferson was highly thought of amongst Republicans and quite often went against his party to vote with the Majority (as he did with CAFTA which only passed by 2 votes). Not saying what he did in New Orleans was right, it certainly wasn't, but among members of the committee he is not viewed as your typical Dem.
Anyone know if he is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus?
Do it man , do it !!!!!!!!!!!! Dont mention he's black or a Dem though
"Anyone know if he is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus? "
Yes he is.

A lifelong resident of Louisiana, Congressman Jefferson is a graduate of Southern University A&M College and of Harvard University Law School. In the 106th Congress, Jefferson helped to lead the successful effort to pass the first version of the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) the third version passed in 2004, during the 108th Congress and the New Markets Initiative. AGOA is designed to stimulate bi-lateral investment and trade between the U.S. and the developing nations in Sub-Saharan Africa, while the New Markets Initiative steers more than $20 billion of equity capital to under-served communities, streamlines the Federal Housing Administration mortgage process for low income individuals, creates nine new empowerment zones and provides various tax incentives for investments in those empowerment zones.
