What would you do?
This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. Please don't answer it without giving it some serious thought.
The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation, where you will have to make a decision one way or the other.
Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous.
Please scroll down SLOWLY and consider each line - this is important for the test to work accurately.
You're in Mississippi...In Biloxi, to be exact. There is great chaos going on around you, caused by the hurricane and severe floods. There are huge masses of water all over you. You are a newspaper photographer and you are in the middle of this great disaster.
The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot very impressive photos. There are houses and possessions floating all around you, disappearing into the water. Nature is showing all its destructive power and is ripping everything away with it.
Suddenly you see a man in the water, he is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken away by the masses of water and mud. You move closer. Somehow the man looks familiar.
Suddenly you know who it is - it's George W. Bush!
At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him away, forever.
You have two options - you can save him or you can take the best photo of your life.
So you can save the life of George W. Bush, or you can shoot a Pulitzer Prize winning photo, a unique photo displaying the death of one of the world's most powerful men.
So here's the question (please give an honest answer):
Would you select colour film, or rather go with the classic simplicity of black and white?
Just too much hate in their lives.
Pure hate. It's like looking the devil in the face.
It's just a joke. Everyone knows that Bush can walk on water.
I saw this distributed by email a few weeks ago in NYC with Hillary as the object.
The person who forwarded this to me just became a citizen last year. I am so disappointed in her.
I remember the same joke with Clinton back in the 90s. Something about jogging and the Potomac. While I agree the joke is somewhat tasteless considering the situation in NO, would the same email about a Democratic politician be considered hateful as well? I would hope.
Perverted.
I remember hearing a variation a long time ago that went like this:
Q: You're in a room with Saddam Hussein, Fidel Castro, and Al Sharpton, but you only have two bullets - who should you shoot.
A: Al Sharpton. Twice.
Yeah, but the rats will still complain that he got the carpet wet when he came back.
Are they never satisfied?
Thousands of people have just lost their lives by drowning and making jokes on the topic is sick.
That, or it parts around him.
I'm just surprised that he didn't go to Louisiana and confront the storm and turn it away.
Very bad idea to open e-mails from people you don't know.
You didn't answer my question. Would you consider a joke of the same sort, a man drowning regardless of the surroundings, acceptable if it was a Democrat?
This is very old---it's manipulated for different people.....
A left-leaning friend from Baton Rouge whom I have political disussions with emailed me after he heard about the Kanye debacle and said he was done with Democrats and was registering Independent. It's a start.
LOL. No, but most folks that know me know not to start with that shiite. It would be like bringing a knife to a gunfight.
Jokes about shooting are one thing, but jokes about drowning? so soon after this disaster?
Come to think about it, people lost their lives down there by shooting too.
I don't think any jokes about drowning are appropriate right now.
The sad part is I *know* the person who sent this. She made a big mistake.
