'THE BIG BOO' CROWD HISSES KANYE WEST Fri Sep 09 2005 10:30:28 ET
The chart topping hip hop rapper star who used a network hurricane fundraiser to charge "George Bush doesn't care about black people" was loudly and lustily booed during last night's NFL kickoff show.
The appearance of Kanye West, who was beamed into the Boston stadium via remote from Los Angeles, received a strongly negative response from the crowd.
"The boos were thunderous and lasted for much of his number," reports the BOSTON GLOBE.
Developing...
"I actually thought Green Day was pretty good. Santana was OK but not as good as I hoped."
Did Carlos where his Che' shirt?
It appears a significant portion of their fan base has.
I guess alot of them grew up, got jobs and had kids. I mean actually had kids with a wife, not like Crosby who had his with a turkey baster and a couple of soon-to-split-up lesbians looking to accessorize.
I know what you mean. There are an awful lot of fans of that so-called music. I keep hearing how the ballad is dead. What's dead, it seems, is any appreciation for beauty in music: a beautiful melody and a touching lyric. Sad.
That is just what he deserved for saying something so friggin stupid. It is jerks like this (Je$$e and $harpton too) that keep this race crap going just to get a rise out of white America. Where is our spokesperson to spout off racism when something doesn't go our way fast enough? Oh, thats right. We don't have any because we are civilized. They are just like babies. " I wanna be first.Let me get rescued first. Never mind those other races. Only we are important" See how dumb this crap sounds. Ignorance, I tell you.
BA DOMP BOMP!!!
;-)))
So are they.
No worries...his thug supporters will take their FEMA
debit cards and buy his trash with them....
imo
true, unless you illegally download his crap and burn it onto a disc. That way you really f**k him over.
Hopefully, his career will tank. I've had it with entertainers spouting off with their nonesense.
Also watch for George Looney Clooney. He mortgaged his house to make a movie where he plays Edward R Murrow. I am not sure why he picked such a limited project to bet his house on, but then no one ever said he smart actor.
"A more amazing story happened a couple of weeks ago at a Crosby Stills and Nash concert. This was a CSN crowd, and they booed David Crosby when he went off on an anti-Bush rant. At one point, he yelled at the crowd, I can say any damn thing I want about your sh*tty president! And somebody responded Viva La Bush! causing members of the crowd to cheer."
This is too good to be true! I like CSN and I would've booed too, but I'd figure I'd be minority.
This quote appeared in today's New Hampshire Union Leader:
"About the only negative on the whole night was during the early part of the pregame show when musician Kanye West was shown live on the video boards. The Gillette crowd booed West loudly for several minutes. West made controversial comments about President Bush during a Saturday telecast for hurricane Katrina victims."
Not that I noticed (I think even ABC might have an issue with that).
He performed "Cool", but it suffered as they didn't have Rob Thomas up front.
Lurking NFL Brass:
Please take note.

P.S. I am one of your good customers of long standing. It's not just this low-life "entertainer," but all of the ancillary "entertainment" and sadly now politics that you seem to want to force upon your paying customers.
But, according to the MSM, everybody hates Bush. How can this be? Those football fans all need subscriptions to the New York Times.
That selfish kid is going to get dixie-chicked.
Bump it till I get a clip!!!
I so want to hear this!
Kayne West will be opening for the Dixie Chicks at the Holiday Inn Stratosphere Lounge in Poughkeepsie NY next Wednesdfy.
yes!! I want to see this!!
The media is out rigging polls and here we have proof that in MASS it ain't going over well!
ROFLMAO
Well, ya know, the Sunday that Katrina kicked the gulf coast in the nutz is the same day that Kanye West was having a grand old time at the MTV VMA's. So, while he was partying, people in LA, MS and AL were dying.
***
Yeah...and so where was the outcry? He can blast the President for not being in New Orleans as soon as the wind stopped blowing, but it's ok for him to party while Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama were getting trashed.
Sounds a bit like a double standard there. But then again everyone knows there is no such thing as black racism. (sarcasm)
