Berger had better have earned that joke of a sentence.

Disgusting! Sandy Berger should be in jail. This is really a disgrace.

He'll be back just in time to help the beast fill her cabinet. What about loss of his security clearance?!

The recommended sentence was only $10,000 and one year probation so the actual sentence in context is harsher.

Still, its chump change compared to the bombshell info he carried away from public view.

So, am I right to assume that $50k was a good price for those papers, Bill & President Clinton's reputation? Is this considered a campaign contribution?

That he took anything is bad enough. Really sad that his penalty was so little.

I question the timing during Katrina distraction.

The Judge should have waited for Able Danger and the 9/11 Commruption revelations.

It really makes you wonder what it really was that he was stuffing in his pants...

What secrets, what information, to cover "who's" asterix...

shhhhhhh, Able Danger, shhhhhhhh

"two year probation?" how convenient...just in time for 2008! LOL

Dollars to donuts the Clintoons pay the fine.

I'm tellin' you guys, that Fat Sandy was covered by the "J. Edgar Hoover" insurance policy held by the Clintoons..." I knew those copies of the FBI files would come in handy"...

Was it recovered, or put back after being altered? I'm less worried about what was destroyed than what could've been altered. What's in the NA is now worthless.

I don't know what to say anymore! Our court system is in a state of shambles run by nothing but crooked judges!

Old Webb had to go to the big house. Sandy skates. I hope old Webb decides to write a book soon.

Earlier reports said he was cooperating with authorities. I wonder what he told to spare him jail time..

I am not surprised by the light sentence. They have to protect the clintoon legacy.

OK, I may be grasping at straws here. But, do you think that the stuff he stole from the archives had to do with Able Danger and the Clinton Administration's failure to arrest Atta and prevent the 9-11-01 attacks? He did steal the stuff right before the 911 Commission's document review.
