Most men are more tolerant of a bad marriage than women. They have other outlets, in work, and play, and because they are better at compartmentalization. That is the reason.

Oh crap.
I was counting on the fact you love CA.
I guess I'll have to add you to the long, but distinguished, list of women I have disappointed.

Get a divorce, get a check.Wow! I just have to compliment you. You are really, really good at generalization. So good, in fact, that I'm going to suggest to Merriam-Webster that 'narby' is a synonym for 'generalize'.

You seem to be the rare exception these days! But I'm glad to know there are women who still think that way. And no it is not demeaning to do those things. Like I said it is all about choices. Once one makes a choice, so mote it be! It is all the caterwalling after a bad choice is made and the casting of blame that gets me.

oh, I DO love California. I love the ocean. I love to surf. I love going to an Orchid farm then a wine tasting then down the coast to a little restaurant where you cook your own steaks. I love to walk with my daughter in the surf finding sand dollars and telling her the story of the sand dollar. I love showing her where I grew up. I love going down in the barranca of Thousand Oaks where no one knows how to go if you ain't old boy and showing her the old swimming hole. I love living near my old high school. I'd really love it if we could move the whole thing somewhere where people are in love with their country. People who go to church. People who love their kids. I'm sorry. I get the property. You promised.
PS: Any jobs?

A good marriage requires two people who are committed to the same thing. My ex was committed. It wasn't until well after we were married that I found out not all that time she'd spent in mental institutions was as a staff member...

BTTT! ...good post. All who are interested should download the document and read it.
As for the ugly thread after your good post, we can see that true conservatism is dead in both political parties. Even our congressmen have rebelled against our Constitution (re. the VAWA, Child Support Act and other treasonous violations) to please a horde of loose feminists and their immoral sugar daddies. Our country and markets have become a house of prostitution. I have no respect at all for our "elite" as they continue to destroy families.
Fathers: Drop the Vote in 2008! Be nonpolitical!
