The corruption eminating from NOLA goes far and beyond that of Chicago. The corruption in Chicago is nothing compared to the decades of Democrat corruption of NOLA.

I like this idea ... a forensic audit. Normally used in the business world and in law enforcement to answer the basic questions: who, what, when, where, why and how much. Dealing with theft of course, in one form or another. Could be money or other property.

I like this, especially if someone else will also follow the trail of documents and actions of the players involved. Simultaneously. If money was misspent maybe it should be reimbursed, with interest of course. (Although I do not believe politicians have the stomach for that, applied against themselves that is.)

Now the question is who can do this fairly, consistently, conscientiously and will not sacrifice the truth --- that both parties can agree on. (Otherwise it is useless.)

Oh, And please no more "shadow participants previously involved in the machinations" like those placed on the 9-11 Omission Commission.

Maybe, but they'll ask her what happened to all that money the Feds gave her and her brother for disaster relief. She can't cry her way out of that one.

So true! But, isn't this the usual dem SOP? Throw all the blame on the president or republicans early on so the people hear that first and get all worked up over it. When the truth finally comes out, everyone os so sick of the whole mess that no one wants or cares to hear about it.It has served them well.

And of course you have a hundred news channels parroting their lies 24/7 and when the truth does come out, they conveniently half heartedly report it once buried in their stack of health issues or something and then move on to another feeding frenzy somewhere else. You can always tell when the medias reporting half truths is about to catch up with them. They move on to something else.

Oh, I agree. But as many posters here on FR and other sites have noted, the evidence is more overwhelming to damn the Louisianna and N.O. governments than it is the federal government. Frist and co. can have all the facts on their side, but that will not stop the MSM from trying to turn it around on President Bush. They are not looking at it now, so what makes you think they (MSM) will not look at it 3 months or so down the road?

I'm not so sure. Corruption in chicago is well entrenched and has been around for decades. Anyway, I think that local gov't, especially big cities, is in general corrupt and wasteful.
