I think I may have the answer.
As I understand it, he was speaking with his lawyers on Saturday night (the 27th) supposedly about legalities.
But between him and Blanco,I think as cold and as senseless
as it seems,there is a big difference about who would be responsible for "costs" when it comes down to Mandatory Evacuation. The Federal call (for evacuation) the cost goes to the feds......local call (the idiots) for mandatory evacuation would be a state pick up.
Yeah at this point in time, seems pretty stupid, but we're talking democrats here.

Yes, it's great fun to watch two democrats at each other's throats, and sad to see them both bad-mouthing Bush.I hope that both get replaced soon! They should call a special election after the clean-up and restoration is under way and boot these apes out. Good grief!
