SNL is gonna have a field day with Geraldo
Poor Dusty.
LOL!
Man I'm sorry for laughing but that struck me as funny.
I wondered if Dusty was having trouble walking, then could see he (?) definitely didn't want to go and thought I was seeing things when all four legs were up in the air and he was being dragged along on his back! Guess we'll hear from PETA next.
Wasn't it amazing how Geraldo showed up just before all the troops were moving in? All the nasty remarks about Shep Smith were really over the top. For days he watched as babies, elderly and sick people had to live like animals on that overpass, unable to do anything to help them. I guess it wouldn't bother those with a heart of stone. To see that poor woman with a five day old baby! really upset him. Thank God he was able to at least help her. He badly needed a break from that post and I'm sorry he wasn't there to see the rescue after seeing so much misery.
Of course it's possible that had Geraldo been there on day one everyone would have been rescued right away, just to escape his drama! Is there a fine for overacting?
Yes, I've been disgusted at Geraldo. However, I will give him credit for being the first reporter I saw to get to the airport and recognize the incredible efforts of the airlifts. He compared them to the airlifts of Berlin. MSNBC wasn't covering it at all and the reporterette at CNN was outraged that the airport looked like a military zone. I couldn't believe it. The media demands the US to act, and when they arrive, they ring their hands and whine that they are there. I was utterly disgusted and Geraldo was the only one who got it right.
See my #204. I wrote it before seeing your post. I wonder how many saw that...and how far did the escort drag that dog?
