Prayers for all those who died unnecessarily!

Rapper West, take a look at this picture. Now blame President Bush.

Great, another one casting stones. I'm gonna guess that this is an original title?

LA officials should be hiding in fear at this point in time.

This is the best quote on Drudge's site:
Louisiana disaster plan, pg 13, para 5 , dated 01/00
'The primary means of hurricane evacuation will be personal vehicles. School and municipal buses, government-owned vehicles and vehicles provided by volunteer agencies may be used to provide transportation for individuals who lack transportation and require assistance in evacuating'...

Any intrepid reporter would use this quote to confront any LA politician blaming Washington/Bush. Most MSM reporters are too lazy, incompetent, PC, or ideologically biased toward 'blame Bush' to do so.

Maybe dems didn't get how bad it could be... they've only been there, and in charge, for... for... forever.

When Savannah evacuated, we all road out on those dang school buses. I griped and groused...

But looking at this, I realize just how GOOD our disaster plan was compared to this two liner in the manual that said "If you don't have a car, get a ride from a friend, neighbor or relative" ACK.

And as for the buses not having restrooms....NEITHER DOES A CAR!

I thought I heard the Mayor saying he "didn't want no school buses," but instead wanted Greyhound Buses. I guess its better to commandeer private property (Greyhound buses) than it is to use government property (school buses) that is at your disposal.

For what?

We can keep posting this here ... and should, it doesn't cost us anything to do it ... but until the MSM starts to show these photos and ask the question NOTHING will come of it. And, guess what ... the MSM will not report this because it will hurt a fellow Democrat.

few days from now or maybe even hours, Matt Drudge will be accused of racism as people like Sharpton and Jackson say he is bigoted against Nagin and liberals in general, by pointing out he wanted them to be put into the back of buses. I am not even joking.

I wondered if NO had public transit.
I figured it did.
That is BEYOND ridiculous!

The DUmmies are saying that the mayor had not jurisdiction outside of New Orleans and therefore had no authority to take his people beyond the city limits. But don't all cities that have evacuation plans (like Galveston) involve taking the people beyond the city limits?

You make a good pont - however it wouldn't wash because of ONE single word in that cited section MAY. A case could be made if that word were to have been SHALL.

don't mean to seem nit-picky,but the choice of those 2 words can make all the difference i the world regarding how something is carried out.
