"McLaughlin Group". They make CNN look like right wing neo-cons. Through the late eighties and early nineties I watched all the political shows to acquire knowledge. The MacLaughlin Group has always sucked. Probably the one I spent the least time with.

These Bush bashers, race card players, are going to alienate themselves from much of the American public. They make it look like the people who are being assisted are ungrateful. I hope some other leaders step up and counter them (wishful thinking? ). As the saying goes, "Don't burn your bridges" or as I will say "Don't flood the road to assistance". Most people might have had race in mind when viewing this, not knowing anything about New Orleans, but I am sure President Bush or most of the right thinking American people, did not say let them suffer, let them starve. If you listen to those bashers, you would think people said that or believe that.
Getting to the point where I am getting a little disgusted but don't want to take it out on the poor people who do not have any idea what these racists are saying. Most of the people are decent people who want to just live their lives.

I am sick of celebrities forcing their narcissim and altered realities onto us.
Harry Connick Jr and Goodman are both PC Bush bashers.

LOL.....nice to see them all bunched up in one place.
We don't have to worry about them popping up elsewhere.

There's a Democrat Mayor, a Democrat City Council, a Democrat Chief of Police, a Democrat Attorney General, a Democrat Governor, a Democrat Lt. Governor, 24 of 39 Louisiana State Senators are Democrat, 67 of 105 Louisiana State House Representatives are Democrat, there's a Democrat Representative in the House from New Orleans, and one of two Senators in the Senate is a Democrat.

I don't know how much more I can take. When is it time to come out fighting without regard to offending "progressive" sensibilities. If they insist on playing the race baiting game the reality is that the major blame for the lack of order and response falls directly on a Democrat black Mayor who has a predominately black police force in a largely democrat city with democrat public officials and city council who largely ignored the evacuation plan that had been established and weren't prepared even though the natural cycle of hurricanes suggested this might be a bad year. You would think the Black Mayor of a a city with many poor blacks would be a little more sensitive to their needs. You would think that the Blacks who were strong enough to lift and carry TV's and other nonessential goodies would have been more inclined to help their Brothers and Sisters instead of looting raping and shooting. You would think the Black police officers would have been helping the poor and needy instead of helping themselves to Plasma screens and jewelry but I guess that is expecting way to much.
Maybe I have been wrong all along and maybe the leftist's have it right, that Blacks just don't have the ability to take of themselves and really need a welfare state. Maybe they are right when they don't hold them personally responsible because they just don't have the ability to be responsible. I never believed that in the past in fact I have always believed just the opposite but apparently I was sadly wrong. If the best Belefonte, Jackson et al can do is Race bait, maybe that is all they are intellectually capable of and we shouldn't be to critical of their limited abilities. I just don't know anymore.

You can call and ask a legitimate question that the screener will like and then bring up the subject of the buses. There is no trick question or tactic involved.

The MacLaughlin Group has always sucked. Probably the one I spent the least time with. Totally agree.
I was surfing and past this "thing" and Buchanan was the first up so I figured I'd take a quick listen.
He made me sick! Nothing but lies. I feel like Howlin..I'll never listen to a thing this a$$hole says again.

"Let's hope someone poses the following question to this distinguished panel:
There is a photo of 300 or so schoolbuses sitting in 4 feet of water in NOLA. "Why were these buses not deployed to help people evacuate?" Whose responsibility was it to deploy these buses"?
"Karl Rove created a force field around those buses, and we couldn't budge them one inch!"

Hey there...welcome to Free Republic.
Honestly, I don't watch his program, so don't know the drill...was hoping it might be like some of the others that actually allow a 'tad' of internet dissent.

CNN has really taken an awe inspiring return to the left after a half-hearted attempt to balance itself out. S. O'Brien is gradually making more and more commentary on topics and Miles has always been a bit of the opportunist ...
What were there ratings again? </sarcasm>
