Cameron Park, Texas

Census 2000 highlights: Ranked as the poorest community in the nation, with a per capita income of $4,103 per year

Could it possibly be a mexican Colonia, Cindy?

It's not even a city. It's one of our oldest and I guess most improved colonias in Brownsville:')

Then perhaps Father Seifert would understand if folks want to "immigrate" their way into his rectory or his parish's convents. Hope he doesn't have locks on the doors.

“Any family in economic need has a right o immigrate, that’s our posture, if a family is hungry and the family needs work, then society should provide a way for people to do that,” Seifert said.

These jerkoffs think they are above the law because they are on a mission from God to fill the church pews of America.  I'm disgusted. I would throw them in prison if it were up to me.

Yes that's right....Mexican society should be providing jobs for the illegals that come here...not American society!

"...Organizing in conjunction with the Catholic church makes sense because the church’s position is pro-immigration, said Father Michael Seifert of San Felipe de Jesús.

"'Any family in economic need has a right o immigrate, that’s our posture, if a family is hungry and the family needs work, then society should provide a way for people to do that,' Seifert said..."

SO, here you have a political activist who is also a Catholic Priest, abusing his position as a representative of Christ to push his communist/marxist perspectives on others, and other nations at that.

I'm a Catholic but I DO NOT ENDORSE NOR SUPPORT any "Catholic" who uses an affiliation with the Church to encourage, endorse or accommodate breaking laws based upon some presumption (or another, as in, any presumption) based upon an indulgent desire that "want makes it right".

This guy is proliferating humanism amd marxism -- encouraging people to go take what they want because they want it -- and abusing his position of trust as a Catholic Priest.

Shame on this guy, shame on our Catholic Church for allowing this guy to be so self indulgent. He should be encouraging people to respect others, not to disrespect them and theirs.

Why don't they migrate to the Vatican? That place seems swank, it should be able to hold 15,000 of our Mexican friends easily.
