Chinese netters link Katrina with Iraq and Kyoto
Sina News (in Chinese)

Posted on 09/03/2005 3:38:05 AM PDT by CodeRouge

- americans should use 30% of their defense budget for the relief, and don't drop bombs in iraq and come to contain china ...

- USA, this is the punishment from the God, go to confess your sins ...

- those (Chinese) pro-americanists wake up, do you really believe the US is as strong as you siad? americans are so civilized as you imaged? ...

- bullshit, i think you are not civilized at all, when people are suffering you still talk those nonsense, you don't have the least compassion

- don't blame bush, he is just too busy, except iraq, there are so many places in the world that need the US to keep order and promote democracy ...

- the americans' moral standards are not so high, a hurrican make them show their true colors

- it's not a big deal, anyway the US has a lot of money

- americans are very practical, such a disaster make them cry loudly, we chinese will endure disaster larger than this, like the chinese saying: crying baby have more milk ...

- it's not natural disaster, refuse to sign the kyoto treaty, it's human disaster

- wow, rich boy doesn't have extra money, 555

- get the troops in iraq back for relief work, that would be enough ...

- the ability of chinese government to cope with natural disasters is great

- this is so-called american citizens with high qualities?

- lousiana is one of the poorest states in the US, ..... if they have a lot of money, things will be different

- a few previous typhoons, even not as severe as this one, also brought a lot of damages to zhejiang and fujian provinces, but social orders are kept well and they recovered pretty quick ...

Sina (NASDAQ:SINA) is funded by Taiwanese, Singaporean, American shareholders and Chinese communists. Technically it's a US company. Inciting anti-American and ultra-nationalist emotions boosts its name recognition in China.

The headline is inaccurate: it should read 'nutters' rather than 'netters'.

I think we can all "thank" the MSM for showing the footage of the Superdome over and over again and not showing any footage of the 90% of the rest of the people that are working together to help each other. It's really giving the rest of the world a slanted view of the American people.

Although you go to far you have one point about the social unrest this disaster made. Gunfights and gangs plyndring stores etc. Thats low moral and ethics. I have seen so many on this page talking shit about countries and social unrest. Now looks what happening in New Orleans. This should make somebody come down of their high horse.

The good thing coming out of this is that the law enforcers got order to shoot the bastards. Atleast its a cheap way of getting rid of unwanted elements. I just hate crime and lazy people so much

We've seen the Chinese method of keeping social order, it involves mowing down a couple thousand peaceful pro-democracy demonstrators using tanks. We'll probably see more of that in future with coming labor unrest in China.

Sadly, the Chinese regime realizes that the most likely way for it to cling to power is to incite ultra-nationalism, which involves bashing the US, continuing to stir up the populace over Taiwan and bitterly nursing their grievances against the Japanese.

And no Chinese should ever criticize any country over greenhouse gas emissions. Man, you can't even breathe near some of their industrial sites for all the CO, SO2, heavy metals and other pollutants spewing forth.

Yes. And Kyoto would have meant an enormous transfer of wealth from the US, which would limited, to China, which would not be limited.

Refusing to ratify Kyoto is like stopping a robbery in progress. Like the Supreme Court's decision to stop Democrats from stealing a Presidential election, it cannot be forgiven.

Like the way they handled that pesky little famine from 1958-61. Although exact data are not available, estimates range anywhere from 30 to 40 million deaths caused by the famine.

For instance, under the great leap forward of the sainted communist Mao, they really did reduce themselves to cannibalism in very substantial numbers to cope with the natural disaster of starvation, and they have dealt with the crisis of too many people with coping methods such as infanticide, particularly of young girls.
