Shep was on national television Monday at 6:00 a.m. talking about how New Orleans "dodged a bullet" WHEN THE EYE WAS STILL OUT IN THE GULF!
I'm sure he's wondering how many folks stuck around because of his non-scientific analysis.
These hotrod journos need to be held accountable for their free speech. Yelling "no hurricane" is akin to yelling "fire" in a theatre, IMHO.

I will never, ever forget hearing Shep Smith say "New Orleans dodged the bullet". It is literally seared in my memory. No joke. He is TOTALLY irresponsible and should be fired, IMHO.
He's standing on the bridge talking about the people who are 'still there' but he can't say if it is the same group of people that were there yesterday or a new group of people? he can't even answer Sean's questions as to why they can't leave?

(Are you ready for your closeup Ms. Sheehan?)

Agreed. I saw Shemp down there in the French Quarter with people walking around in the background boozing and laughing. This was after the storm.
