I have a friend who said she read on web that all ham radios etc frequencies have been jammed and they think a US Navy ship has jammed them.

I don't know how to respond to this. Anyone heard anything?

This is absolutely not true. Hams have been providing service throughout this disaster.

I haven't heard confirmation of this. HOWEVER.. it is more than likely a temp jam, if it is indeed coming from the Navy, and is probably a VERY GOOD THING WITH A GOOD REASON.

LOL. You can read anything on the web. If I wsa you, I distance myself from this friend, if the friend thinks the report is credible.
